Linkforce was engaged to upgrade aging Cone Crushers at Rio Tinto’s Paraburdoo mine, replacing two Secondary and four Tertiary Crushers that had exceeded their design life. The project addressed critical reliability, safety, and maintenance issues while the plant remained operational. Delivered on time and within budget, the upgrade significantly improved the long-term performance and safety of the crushing infrastructure.
Linkforce successfully delivered a critical truss replacement for the YCV213 conveyor at Rio Tinto’s Yandicoogina mine. As a key component in the ore handling system, the conveyor required structural upgrades to support increased capacity and resolve long-standing integrity issues. Custom-engineered trusses were fabricated and installed to withstand complex operational and environmental loads. Drawing on a wide range of Linkforce’s in-house capabilities, the project was completed on schedule with minimal disruption, significantly enhancing the conveyor’s safety and reliability.
Linkforce completed essential upgrades to the rock breaking infrastructure at Rio Tinto’s Brockman Syncline 4, addressing downtime and safety risks impacting production. The project included replacing four rock breakers and delivering structural, electrical, and control system enhancements to support remote operation. Completed in both online and offline environments, the works were delivered with minimal disruption, improving safety, efficiency, and long-term performance.
